Celebrate A Century of Brooklyn Bird Watching

Over the past hundred years, more than 270 species of birds have been spotted in Prospect Park. This walk will honor the early days of the Brooklyn Bird Club, its first birders, and the community of birders they have inspired. Presented by the Prospect Park Audubon Center and the Brooklyn Bird Club. Free.
Sunday, March 22: meet at 7:50 a.m. at Grand Army Plaza / Stranahan statue
Sunday, March 29: meet at 7:30 a.m. at Bartel Pritchard Park entrance
Brooklyn St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Sunday, March 15, 1 p.m. Starting at Prospect Park West & 15th Street, the route will swing down 15th St. to 7th Avenue, up Union Street to Prospect Park West and finish at 15th Street.

Reduced-Rate Tennis Lessons Just $25 for beginners only

NEW! Reduced-rate lessons for beginners only.
• $25 per class • 5-class sessions $100
Available hours: Monday & Wednesday, 12 - 1 p.m. or 1 - 2 p.m.
Starting Monday, March 9, 2009. Lessons must be completed by May 3. Four players per court maximum.

Nature Babies Register now: first 8-week spring session begins March 16!

Mondays, 10 - 11:15 a.m. Kids sing songs, hear stories, and learn all about the natural world in this innovative program for 18-month to 3-year-olds and their caregivers.
