Opening Day Saturday, April 5

Join us as we celebrate the start of the glorious spring season in Prospect Park! Special events throughout the Park and the opening of many great attractions will make you head for the great outdoors. There's so much to do!
Saturday only: • Little League parade • Opening Day Clean-Up for Volunteers
All weekend long: • Spring Wash Day at Lefferts Historic House • The historic Carousel opens for the season • Take an electric boat tour of Brooklyn's only freshwater lake.

UniverSoul Circus Tuesdays - Sundays through April 13

The UniverSoul Circus has just two more weeks of shows at Prospect Park, and tickets are still available. Stop by the Wollman Rink parking lot for your share of death-defying stunts, amazing animals, and heart-thumping music. Click here for more!
Celebrate Earth Week April 19 at the Youth Resource Center April 19 - 20 at the Prospect Park Zoo April 21 - 27 at the Audubon Center

There's no better place than Prospect Park to celebrate the earth! Home to Brooklyn's last forest, the Park is a staggering example of natural beauty, right in your own backyard. New York City public schools are out all week - come to the Park and enjoy great events every day:
Saturday, April 19, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Youth Council Earth Day Celebration Learn the art of gardening and energy conservation at the Youth Resource Center.
April 19 & 20, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Earth Day Weekend at the Zoo Meet the Zoo's amazing baboons and learn about wildlife conservation efforts.
April 21 - 27, 12 - 5 p.m. Earth Week at the Audubon Center This week is jam-packed with activities at the Boathouse - movies, tours, lectures, crafts, and much more. With a different theme every day, there's plenty for kids and adults to do.
