Baseball
Prospect Park has over a dozen ballfields that are used by a variety of athletic leagues and teams throughout the season. Youth Baseball games are coordinated by the Prospect Park Baseball Association, a partnership of the Prospect Park Alliance, City of New York/Parks & Recreation, and community members representing more than 2,500 youth baseball players.

The 78th Precinct Youth Council, St. Francis Xavier Youth Sports, Camp Friendship, Holy Name Fathers Guild, Immaculate Heart of Mary, Brooklyn Angels, Our Lady of Guadalupe, and Sacred Heart Youth Program all sponsor Youth Baseball teams in Prospect Park. Pick-up games are available, though fields may be occupied by people who have received permits.
There are two locations for ballfields in Prospect Park:
Long Meadow Ballfields
Enter the Park at 9th Street and Prospect Park West or at Bartel-Pritchard Circle (the intersection of Prospect Park West and Prospect Park Southwest near 15th Street), and cross the Park Drive to the Long Meadow.
