NYC Trees and Climate Change

Free Learn how our communities are connected through the environment.

Sunday, September 25,  2– 3:30 p.m.

In celebration of NYC Climate Week 2011, join us for a workshop designed for youth (ages 10–17) and their parents. Rally the family to answer the questions: What is climate change? How much carbon does a tree hold? And why is this good for people and the planet in NYC and around the world?

Participating families must include a parent or guardian. Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations strongly recommended at education@ra.org or (646) 452-1975; walk-ins welcome. Led by the Rainforest Alliance with funding from HSBC Bank. Audubon Center. Free.
