Winter on a Flatbush Farm
 

KidsFreeGet ready for winter as they did in the 19th century farming village of Flatbush.


November 28 &29, 2009, 1 - 4 p.m.
Kids learn how to make candles, start a patchwork quilt, and preserve food for the coming months. Watch flax be spun into thread and enjoy Dutch treats made at our open hearth from a Lefferts family recipe. On Sunday, November 29, St. Nicholas will make an appearance at 3 pm. Lefferts Historic House.
