The Olmsted Legacy: America's Urban Parks
A film premiere at Prospect Park.

Prospect Park Bandshell, entrance at Prospect Park West and 9th Street.
This one hour documentary, which features Prospect Park, examines the formation of America’s first great city parks and the visionary role of Frederick Law Olmsted, the urban planner and landscape architect responsible for so much of the great work done in the late 19th century.
The premiere will take place in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park, which is often described as Olmsted’s grandest achievement. Various members of the production team and cast will be in attendance.
