The Scoop on Poop!
Find your inner animal detective and go "tracking" at the Zoo.
September 12, 2010 1 - 2 p.m.
Wildlife biologists can track animals in the wild and learn a lot about their diet by looking at scat (animal poop). Children will learn some tricks of the trade by identifying animal paw prints and animal scat, and will then look for clues in an animal tracking mystery game. Children will also create a track craft to take home.
All programs are geared for ages 5-10. Cost is $8 per child at the zoo, $6 when registering in advance. Cost does not include zoo admission. To pre-register, call 718-399-7339 x326 or email .
