19th Annual Quilt Exhibit: Green Quilts - Call for Submissions
Brooklyn quilters offer their best at this annual exhibit.
Call for Submissions:
The Lefferts Historic House in Prospect Park is pleased to announce our 19th Annual Quilt Show exhibit: Green Quilts. Entries for Green Quilts can draw inspiration from recycled materials like fabric scraps or old clothing. They can address the theme by creating quilts using old/recycled non-traditional quilting materials that incorporate pliable materials that aren’t fabric but that could be re-purposed for a quilt. Quilter’s may also respond to the theme more conceptually depicting images that address the artist’s love of or concern for the environment
For the month of November the exhibit will be shown at Lefferts Historic House; during December at the Audubon Center.
