Party for Playgrounds 09
 

While the summer rain fell gently on the Boathouse, inside the party was in full swing, with close to 325 guests enjoying French picnic fare and delightful drinks pm Friday, June 5. We were honored to have Mayor Michael Bloomberg stop by to say a few words, and bidding at the fabulous silent auction was fierce. This fifth annual event raised close to $60,000 in support of the playgrounds, and was a wonderful way for the community to come together in support of Prospect Park and all it has to offer Brooklyn’s children, present and future.
