Ezra Jack Keats Story Hour

KidsFree Enjoy amazing stories on summer Saturdays at the Imagination Playground.

Every Saturday in July & August, 2 p.m.
The children of Brooklyn are treated to storytelling every summer in the Imagination Playground. In Central Park, stories are told at the statue of Alice in Wonderland; Prospect Park has Peter and his dog, Willie, from Ezra Jack Keats’ classic book "Whistle for Willie".

Children can sit in Peter’s chair, pet Willie, or lean against Peter reading his book as they listen to stories from around the world. This series, funded by the Ezra Jack Keats Foundation, has become a traditional part of summers in Prospect Park. Free.
