Halloween Haunted Walk & Carnival
Prospect Park celebrates Halloween with good old-fashioned fright.
Saturday, October 31, 12 – 3 p.m. Rain or shine. Prospect Park is Haunted! Suggested donation $1.
The beloved Halloween Haunted Walk is back and scarier than ever! Lurking high on Lookout Hill are zombies, wolf men, headless horsemen, good and bad witches, and other creepy characters. Visitors brave enough to experience this harrowing hike should head to Lookout Hill. The Halloween Haunted Walk is suitable for young children accompanied by parents/guardians or older siblings.
There’s also a carnival on the Nethermead featuring all kinds of fun, games and seasonal treats. Begin at Prospect Park Southwest and 16th St. The Haunted Walk and Carnival is open to all and completely free of charge.
Click here to see the Nethermead on our Interactive Map.
Get your ghoul on – be a volunteer! Be part of one of the most fun and creative Park events of the year. Volunteers are needed to dress up and be scary, prepare meals for performers, assist with carnival games, load the sets, and much more. There’s something for everyone. Get your ghoul on and meet new people, all while having a great day in the Park. Call (718) 965-8960 for more information.
The Haunted Walk takes place on Saturday only, but there are great Halloween events taking place throughout the Park all weekend long:
• Creepy Crawly Halloween at the Audubon Center • Scary Stories from the Past and Halloween crafts at Lefferts Historic House • Haunted Carousel rides • Boo at the Zoo
