Prospect Park Ball 2009
500 of Prospect Park’s nearest and dearest turned out to show how much they love Prospect Park at our annual fall gala. Guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, rode our historic carousel, and explored the beautiful art and one-of-a-kind experiences available in our silent auction.
They were also treated to moving speeches by Robin and Eric Ottaway, representing our honoree, the Brooklyn Brewery, as well as our Wilbur A. Levin award winner Stephen K. Hindy. Then, everyone moved into our awe-inspiring dinner tent, with décor by Mark and Jo Beth Ravitz, and featuring centerpieces created with flora from the Park itself. After a beautifully presented dinner from Great Performances, guests chatted and danced until the evening came to a close at midnight.
This beautiful evening netted close to $200,000 which helps the Alliance restore and maintain the Park that we all love!

Join our Ball Committee!
Dedicated supporters of the Park are invited to join our Ball Committee. The committee takes on responsibilities like helping to sell journal ads, finding silent auction and raffle items, reaching out for corporate support, and encouraging their friends and colleagues to attend the event.
