BLOOMING NATURALISTS: Monday, April 14 – Tuesday, April 22
Audubon Center: 12 – 4 p.m. Free
So you think you are a naturalist? Join the Alliance at the Audubon Center in this Introduction to Bird Watching series. Using fun games and activities learn what makes birds so special in a different lesson each day!
HISTORY IN YOUR HANDS: SPRING SPROUTS: Monday, April 14 – Tuesday, April 22
Lefferts Historic House: 12 – 4 p.m. $3 suggested donation
Help us prepare our potato plot for planting! Join the Alliance at Lefferts Historic House to help rotate and sift our compost, and then spread it in the plot to enrich the soil. Afterwards you can make a small pot out of newspaper, fill it with soil and plant a seed to take home.
RIDE THE CAROUSEL: Monday, April 14 – Tuesday, April 22
Carousel: 12 – 5 p.m. $2 per ride, $9 for a book of 5 tickets
Take a ride on the Park's beautiful and historic carousel. Join the Prospect Park Alliance at the $125 level and your family (up to 4 people) will receive unlimited rides on the Carousel for a full year!
TENNIS CENTER DRILLS & MATCH PLAY: Monday April 14 – Friday April 18; Monday and Tuesday, April 21 & 22
Tennis Center: 1 - 4 p.m. $80 per day
The Prospect Park Tennis Center offers intensive group instruction for adults and children of all levels of experience. The Alliance's accomplished staff of tennis professionals gives players personal attention while they acquire game fundamentals and increase their skill level. Players must register in advance.
