Summer Soiree 2010: Thursday Night Fever
More than 400 guests showed up in their boogie shoes for the Junior Committee’s annual fundraising cocktail party extravaganza! It was a beautiful summer evening, and everyone enjoyed margaritas, cheese fondue, and some serious disco beats at the Boathouse spun by our special guest DJ, The National’s Scott Devendorf. Mayor Michael Bloomberg even stopped by! This amazing evening raised close to $55,000 in support of Prospect Park, and we thank everyone who was a part of it, especially Lead Sponsor Theory; Patron Sponsor Kiehl’s since 1851; Business Sponsor U.
