Prospect Park's annual fundraising events gather diverse groups of Park lovers in support of restoration in Prospect Park. The 1990 Carousel Ball, our first ever, raised money for the reconstruction of the Park’s 1912 Carousel, resurrecting a Park tradition and preserving an important piece of Brooklyn’s cultural history. Since then, the Prospect Park Alliance has developed a full calendar of great events for a broad range of interests and constituencies.

The Prospect Park Anniversary Ball
Saturday, November 10, 6:30 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.
It's Prospect Park's biggest party of the year! Support the vital work of the Prospect Park Alliance while you dance the night away, illuminated by the lights of the Park's historic Carousel.

 

A Walk for Propect Park Walk-a-thon
On Saturday, 11/3, more than 1,300 runners and over 600 walkers gathered for the 2012 Walk/Run for Prospect Park. Thank you! If you are still interested in donating to assist with the recovery efforts from storm damage, it is not too late.

 

Summer Soiree: Gold Rush
Gold Rush drew nearly 400 attendees who enjoyed a night of boat rides, dancing, fabulous cocktails and a spectacular silent auction.


 

Not Just a Hat Party
It was a beautiful morning at The River Café as 85 Park lovers enjoyed a wonderful buffet breakfast, beautiful views, and a gorgeous display of hats, all while raising close to $30,000 in support of Prospect Park’s beautiful and historic landscape.

 

Spring Swing: The Green Party
Close to 400 guest swung into summer at the Playground Committee’s Spring Swing: The Green Party! to support Prospect Park’s playgrounds, open play spaces, and educational programming!

Fall Bash in Support of Prospect Park
More than 450 Prospect Park lovers came together at the first ever Fall Bash at the Park Lounge. It was a great way to gather our diverse Prospect Park community – and a wonderful way to raise money for the Park.


A Walk for Prospect Park Walk-a-thon
Thanks to all the walkers, sponsors & the Brooklyn Community Foundation for a successful Walk-a-thon to benefit the Park.

 

Summer Soiree: Galactic Star Groove
It was a hot night, but an even hotter party when close to 450 people gathered for Summer Soiree 2011: Galactic Star Groove. Guests enjoyed a night of boat rides, dancing, and astronaut ice cream at the Junior Committee’s annual gala cocktail fundraiser.

A Midsummer Night's Dream
It was a beautiful, whimsical evening at the Prospect Park boathouse, where close to 300 guests enjoyed an evening of cocktails, snacks, and beautiful views from the terrace.

 

A Toast to Tupper
The Toast broke every record – we had more attendees and raised more money under a bigger tent than ever!

2010
A Walk for Prospect Park Walk-a-thon
More than 250 walkers showed up bright and early to participate in A Walk for Prospect Park the Alliance’s very first Walk-a-thon. Our walkers raised much-needed funds for everything from tree care to programs for kids at the Audubon Center!



Special Lullwater Lounge
Close to 350 enjoyed the debut of Brooklyn Brewery’s new Detonation Ale – and helped raise money in support of Prospect Park!




Summer Soiree 2010: Thursday Night Fever
More than 400 guests came down with disco fever at the Junior Committee’s annual fundraising event. It was a gorgeous July evening in Brooklyn. While at the beautiful Boathouse, guests enjoyed flavorful cocktails and savory snacks and partied away the evening, all in support of Prospect Park.

Party For Playgrounds 2010
More than 300 guests joined us for a beautiful evening at Prospect Park’s Boathouse, raising much-needed funds in support of Prospect Park and all it has to offer to Brooklyn’s children, present and future.



Hat Party 2010
The fancy hats were out in force at a festive breakfast in support of the Park, hosted by the elegant River Café. Janette Sadik-Khan, Commissioner of the NYC Department of Transportation, was the guest speaker at this ever popular event. 



Skating Under the Stars 2010
Close to 550 people joined us on a crisp night and enjoyed skating, hot chocolate, some light snow, and an impromptu conga line. What a great way to celebrate winter while raising money for Prospect Park!



Third Wednesdays: Lullwater Lounge  
Park lovers chatted with friends old and new at our fall series of happy hours. Lullwater Lounge will return in spring 2010 – check back for further information!
