BROOKLYN CULTURAL ADVENTURES PROGRAM SUMMER CAMP
This summer, come explore world cultures at Brooklyn Children’s Museum and become a plant scientist at Brooklyn Botanic Garden! Dissect an owl pellet at Prospect Park Zoo, scavenger hunt your way through the breathtaking book stacks of Brooklyn Public Library, see a real-life mummy at Brooklyn Museum, and discover the wonderful wildlife of Prospect Park!
You can do all of this and more, when you join us for the Brooklyn Cultural Adventures Program (BCAP) Summer Camp, an innovative day camp creating lifelong connections between youth and their cultural community. With BCAP Summer Camp, become an adventurer in the Heart of Brooklyn!
For 7-12 year-olds, Monday–Friday, 8am–3:30pm. Camp is available in 2-week sessions from July 2 - August 10. Tuition assistance is offered for qualifying campers.

BCAP Campers can:
• Observe things that swim, fly and crawl at the Prospect Park Audubon Center
• Explore world cultures at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum

• Live a literary life at the Brooklyn Public Library
• Create an artistic masterpiece at the Brooklyn Museum
• Go back in time at Lefferts Historic House
• Meet sea lions, baboons, meerkats & more at the Prospect Park Zoo
BCAP Summer Camp 2012
Myths and Magic
Puzzle over ancient legends and discover the mysteries of enchantment. Travel back to the beginning of time through art, science and literature - Myths, Magic, and Mystery are on the menu!
2-Week Camp Sessions
Session 1: July 2 - July 13 (9 day session, camp closed for the 4th of July)
Session 2: July 16 - July 27 (10 day session)
Session 3: July 30 - August 10 (10 day session)
Drop-off and pick-up is at the Brooklyn Museum
Drop-Off: 8 - 9 a.m.
Standard Pick-Up: 3:30 p.m.
Stay and Play After-Camp Program (optional): 3:30 - 6 p.m.
