Now through the end of December there's something for everyone on Saturdays and Sundays in the Park!
AUDUBON CENTER
NEW! Nature on the Go!
Sundays, 1 – 2 p.m.
Play animal charades, pretend to be a bat trying to catch a moth, or join many other fun and active nature games. A Naturalist will lead children and families to areas near the Audubon Center, where you can be active and learn about the nature that is all around us!
Introduction to Birdwatching
Saturdays, 12 – 1:30 p.m.
Take a tour and learn about the 250 species of birds that call Prospect Park home. Meet at the Audubon Center.
Nature's Helpers
Saturdays & Sundays, 2 – 3 p.m.
Spend time outside enjoying nature while helping to keep the Park clean. Families can take a tour of the Park and its waterways and help keep it clean along the way. Gloves, garbage bags and trash grabbers will be provided. Meet at the Audubon Center.
Discover Tour
Sundays, 3 – 4 p.m.
Find out how to use binoculars to spot some of the incredible species of birds that call Prospect Park home. Learn the history of the Boathouse and see little-known curiosities about the Park and its animal residents. Meet at the Audubon Center.
LEFFERTS HISTORIC HOUSE
2nd Floor Tours at Lefferts Historic House
Saturdays & Sundays, 1 – 4:30 p.m. (tours every half hour)
View significant artifacts from 19th-century family life and walk into a fully furnished 1820s bedroom. Free for children. For adults, included with admission.
