The Picnic House in Prospect Park is a 4,000 square foot brick and glass enclosed pavilion with a terra-cotta tile roof. Originally built in 1927 it has been praised for its light and sweeping views.
Located behind Litchfield Villa across the Park Drive, the Renaissance Revival building is situated on a knoll overlooking the 90 acre Long Meadow. The Picnic House offers an elegant backdrop for memorable occasions in all seasons. The natural setting makes it a perfect choice for a wedding. The French doors gracing the rear balcony create a charming focal point for the exchange of wedding vows.

Availability
The Picnic House is available year-round, Tuesday to Sunday, between 8 a.m. and 1 a.m.
The Picnic House is rented in eight-hour blocks, which includes time for setup and clean-up.
Capacity
The Picnic House can accommodate up to 175 guests for dinner and dancing and up to 240 for cocktail parties.
