The Picnic House is a bright, airy venue overlooking the beautiful Long Meadow – the perfect setting for a Bar/Bat Mitzvah. Gather your family and friends to celebrate the guest of honor with an intimate afternoon luncheon or festive evening of dinner, dancing and revelry. Our event staff will provide you with a list of over two dozen extraordinary caterers for you to choose from, including three that can provide a delicious kosher feast. There’s a stage for your ceremony, speeches and toasts. The Picnic House at Prospect Park is a warm, welcoming festive space to eat, dance and rejoice.

Capacity

The Picnic House can accommodate up to 175 guests for dinner and dancing and up to 250 for cocktail parties.
