Set against the night sky, the lights and music of Prospect Park’s Carousel will make your event simply unforgettable.

Capacity
There is a 60-person capacity at the Carousel for parties.
Amenities
· The Carousel is wheelchair accessible · Two 6’ rectangular tables are set up under the awning at the back of the pavilion · Site Manager/Carousel Operator; other staff as needed · Site concessions may be kept open at additional cost; otherwise, the Rental and Event Planning Office can suggest catering solutions · The renter will be given one vehicle permit to park on Carousel Drive when payment is completed. Guest parking for the Carousel is available at the Wollman Rink, and may be used by guests until 10 p.m. Enter the Park at Ocean and Parkside Avenues. It can be as much as a fifteen minute walk on the Drive to the Carousel. Alternatively, street parking may be found along Flatbush Avenue.
Availability
The Carousel may be reserved for two hours, which includes the set-up and clean-up time for the event. No function may go beyond 9:30 p.m.
April - Independence Day Thursday & Friday: 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Saturday & Sunday: 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. or 5:45 - 7:45 p.m.
Independence Day - Labor Day Thursday & Friday: 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Saturday & Sunday: 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. or 6:45 - 8:45 p.m.
Labor Day - October Thursday & Friday: 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Saturday & Sunday: 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. or 5:45 - 7:45 p.m.
Fees
· $300 for two hours · $25 additional Special Events permit application fee · Overtime is only available in the evenings and may be booked at the rate of $125 per hour

A contract will be mailed to you. You’ll also need to apply for a special events permit. All fees and paperwork must be received 3 weeks prior to the event date in order to guarantee reservation. A vehicle permit will be mailed upon receipt of payment, and confirms the date and time of event.
