| Boathouse
Built in 1905, the Boathouse was one of the first buildings in New York City to be declared a landmark. This Beaux Arts style building overlooks the beautiful Lullwater and Lullwater Bridge and features two levels and a balcony. After receiving extensive renovations, the Boathouse reopened in 2002 as the home of the nation’s first urban Audubon Center. This historic structure is available for rental for everything from formal weddings to cocktail receptions to corporate events when not in use for public or school programs. During select hours, you can take advantage of special optional activities such as guided tours and electric boat rides on the Independence. Birthday packages for children, ages 4-12, are also available.
