Prospect Park’s award-winning Volunteer Program offers terrific opportunities for group projects that are tailored to your employees and schedules. Whether you’re fulfilling an internal initiative, planning a fun team-building activity, or looking for a way to help your community, Prospect Park will make it easy for your group to get out of the office and into the great outdoors. We will plan and manage the logistics of your project, provide tools and supervision, and even arrange lunch for the group.
• Flexible scheduling - single day, annual, or ongoing projects • Site selected to accommodate your needs • 4 hours - includes 1 hour lunch • Spring, summer, or fall - Rain or shine

Team Projects
The Park is an oasis of thriving wildlife habitat right in the middle of Brooklyn, New York City’s most populous borough, and corporate teams help keep it clean and beautiful. Projects are arranged according to the size of your group (from 10 - 200), and include such tasks as:
• Weeding flower beds • Caring for newly planted trees • Cleaning the lakeshore • Staffing at special events • Revitalizing pathways • Painting benches, trash cans, and fences • Removing invasive plants • Planting trees and annual flower beds
In addition to planning a team project, there are other ways your organization can support Volunteers in Prospect Park:
Make a financial donation towards the project your team is working on. Provide compensation for your employees while they help in the Park. Provide company T-shirts for your employees - a great way to increase company recognition in the community! Provide transportation. Provide lunch. We offer a lunch package at $15 per person that includes a sandwich, beverage, and snack.
Please call our Volunteer Coordinator at (718) 965-8960 and we’ll help you plan your next project.
Hear from our corporate partners
"I just wanted to take this time to thank you once again for allowing us to help all of you great folks at Prospect Park. We all had a great, rewarding experience. There was a good amount of work for our group and we absolutely felt that we had made a worthwhile contribution to such a terrific park.
I also wanted to thank you personally. You made this event so easy for me to coordinate! You also really did a great job with helping to provide food and water for the troops. Everyone there could not stop praising you and the hard work you put into making this a great day for us!
Thank you once again for all you did and continue to do everyday for the park and your community. We miss you already!"

"I not only enjoyed working at Prospect Park last year - I was astounded at how much work we got done and the difference we made! Using parks and appreciating them as I do, I was grateful for the chance to give back. I look forward to participating again this year."
