Get a different view of the Park by touring the Lullwater and the Lake on an electric boat or a pedal boat. Prospect Park is home to Brooklyn’s only lake, and at 60 acres there’s plenty of room to glide about the gentle surface to your heart’s content. When you do, you’ll see the Park’s vibrant aquatic inhabitants close-up. Private boats are not allowed in Prospect Park. There is no boating in the Park November through March.

Electric Boat
Electric boat tours on the Independence begin at the Prospect Park Audubon Center and explore the Lullwater, a placid waterway that meanders through shady woodlands and under historic bridges. After gliding gently along, you’ll emerge into the wide open vista of the Park’s beautiful 60-acre Lake.
Twenty minute tours depart every half hour beginning at 12:30 p.m. with the final ride at 4:30 p.m.
$8 for ages 13 and up, $4 ages 4-12, ages 3 & under ride free with an adult.
Please note the electric boat Independence will NOT be running Thursday, June 18 and Friday, June 19. Boat tours will resume Saturday, June 20.
