Horseback Riding

Horseback riding is a tradition in Prospect Park, with a 3.5-mile bridle path through scenic and varied terrain. The bridle path begins at the Park Circle entrance (the intersection of Coney Island Ave., Parkside Ave., and Prospect Park Southwest) and continues alongside the Lake to the Long Meadow and the Midwood.

Kensington Stables, located just outside the Park across from the Parade Ground, offers horses for rental, riding classes for all levels, pony rides, and parties. Please vist our Kensington Stables page for information on how to ride, costs, hours, directions, contact information, and more.
