Open daily 7 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Fees and Permits
Permits are required for daytime outdoor tennis. Click here for information on how to obtain a permit for the outdoor season.
Permits are not required for outdoor night play but there is a fee (see below) and reservations are strongly advised. Call (718) 436-2500 or stop by the Front Desk to reserve your court time.

Programs, Classes, Lessons & Leagues
At the Prospect Park Tennis Center we offer something for everyone. Group or individual tennis lessons for adults and children, ranging from beginner to high-level. You can play at night, or during the day, all year-long. Our Special Aces program offers group tennis lessons for children with special needs. The Tennis Center is great for a family outing or a birthday party. Learn more >
Directions
The Tennis Center is located at the Parade Ground on the corner of Coney Island and Parkside Avenues (Park Circle). The street address of the Center is 50 Parkside Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11226.

By Public Transportation: MTA map
• F or G Trains to Fort Hamilton Parkway station (exit at Greenwood/Prospect Ave.)
• Q Train to Parkside Avenue station
• B68 Bus along Coney Island Avenue to Parkside Avenue
• B16 Bus along Caton Avenue to Westminster Rd. Cross Parade Ground to Parkside Avenue via Argyle Road entrance.
By Car:
From Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges: Take Flatbush Avenue to Grand Army Plaza, continue on Flatbush, make right on Ocean Avenue, right on Parkside Avenue.
From Brooklyn-Queens Expressway or Brooklyn Battery Tunnel: To Prospect Expressway, Fort Hamilton Parkway exit. Proceed two blocks and make left on Caton Avenue. Make left on Coney Island Avenue to Park Circle. Street parking is available on Parkside Avenue.
