Ballfields

The Long Meadow’s seven ballfields are located near the Ninth Street, Bartel-Pritchard and Tenth Avenue entrances to the Park. They make up the southern portion of the sprawling Long Meadow, which stretches nearly a mile along the western edge of the Park. The Ballfields host pick-up games as well as scheduled games for permitted organizations.

Baseball players

This cluster of ballfields has established Prospect Park as the focal point of youth baseball in Brooklyn. Every year, games are coordinated by Prospect Park Baseball, a partnership of the Prospect Park Alliance, City of New York/Parks & Recreation, and community members representing more than 2,500 youth baseball players. In addition, many other local baseball and softball teams take advantage of the Long Meadow fields, which are surrounded by shady trees and bench-lined paths.

Programs at the Ballfields are made possible by
generous sponsorship support from:

Park Surgical
Prospect Park Baseball Association
ProTesters

If you’re interested in sponsorship opportunities at the Long Meadow Ballfields, please contact Stanton Wood, Director of Institutional Giving, at (718) 965-7712 or via email.
