 | Experiencing nature is easier than ever on the Prospect Park Nature Trails. Interpretive trail signs, along with printed and audio guides, lead visitors on self-guided tours through the Park’s diverse woodland and wetland habitats.
The Prospect Park Audubon Center at the Boathouse serves as the trailhead for a 2.5-mile network of four interpretive trails. Audubon Center teacher/naturalists lead free Discover Tours every Saturday and Sunday at 3 p.m.
 Lullwater Trail
The Lullwater Trail leaves from the Boathouse, and travels along the Park’s watercourse to the Terrace Bridge and back to the Binnen Falls. The trail includes a replica of a rustic arbor originally designed by Calvert Vaux.

Midwood Trail
The Midwood Trail explores a remnant of the historic forest that was preserved in Olmsted and Vaux’s original design for Prospect Park. Interpretative sign panels along the trail incorporate the experiences of the Park’s Green Team (an after-school program), as they learned about the Midwood in 2005.
