Re:New Volunteer Corps

On weekdays, join Prospect Park Alliance to renew the park, part of the Re:New Initiative following the incredible wear and tear we have seen over the past year. During the pandemic Prospect Park has been essential to our community, which has resulted in record use of the park. Volunteer projects will include painting benches, railings and storage containers, sweeping paths, and other essential projects. Some projects will require physical stamina, the ability to lift and carry up to 15lbs, or kneeling for extended periods of time.

Check registration for locations, dates, project details, requirements and guidelines.

Make a lasting impact on Prospect Park! As a part of Prospect Park Alliance’s Re:New Initiative to renew the park after record use during the pandemic, the Re:New Volunteer Corps was established to complete essential improvement projects. Meeting on Tuesdays and Fridays, the Volunteer Corps will engage in activities such as filling divots and reseeding holes in the park’s lawn areas, sweeping paths, and painting benches, railings and storage containers. Click here to view Re:New Volunteer Corps dates, times, and locations.
