Volunteer at The Connective Project

Prospect Park Alliance seeks volunteers to assist on-site at an outdoor community art project celebrating the Park's 150th Anniversary called The Connective Project. Working alongside our talented partners from Area 4, Connective Project volunteers will be responsible for welcoming Park visitors, providing information about project and overseeing art-making activities. The Connective Project brings together artists, Brooklyn notables and the public to create a site-specific art installation, on view July 7 through 17, 2017, which celebrates the special meaning the Park has in the lives of millions of community members from across the borough and beyond. Founded in 1987, Prospect Park Alliance is the non-profit organization that sustains, restores, and advances Prospect Park, “Brooklyn’s Backyard,” in partnership with the City.  The Alliance provides a majority of the staff and resources that keep the Park green and vibrant for the diverse communities that call Brooklyn home.
