Canceled—Picnic House Concession RFP

COVID-19 UPDATE: Due to concerns and closures surrounding COVID-19, Prospect Park Alliance (“PPA”) has decided to cancel the Request for Proposals for the Sale of Food and Beverage from the Picnic House Concession in Prospect Park, Brooklyn. Please note that the meeting scheduled for April 2nd at the Prospect Park Picnic House is also cancelled. Prospect Park Alliance, the non-profit organization that sustains the park in partnership with the city, has issued a Request for Proposals for the sale of food and beverage items from the ground floor Picnic House concession space in Brooklyn's Prospect Park. Brooklyn’s flagship park and a national landmark, Prospect Park draws 10 million visits per year. Located in the diverse and vibrant heart of Brooklyn, the park is one of New York City’s premier community gathering spots.

In order to enhance the visitor experience for the communities we serve, Prospect Park Alliance seeks an operator for the concession space at the Prospect Park Picnic House in the hopes of expanding food options in the park, with a focus on interesting, affordable, seasonal and healthy food. Partner with us and contribute to the flourishing food culture of Brooklyn.

The Alliance seeks proposers who can demonstrate operational excellence and substantial experience to operate a quality food service facility at reasonable prices and enhance the experience of park users, while demonstrating a deep commitment to partnering with Prospect Park Alliance.
