Campfire Conversations: Changes and Transformations

Prospect Park Alliance and Brooklyn Public Library present Campfire Conversations, a new series of themed community conversations around an outdoor campfire at the Lefferts Historic House, complete with music, refreshments and mulled wine. Join us the first Saturday of the month a different theme facilitated by a topic expert. This month’s theme is Changes and Transformations: National Sobriety. Join Prospect Park Alliance and Brooklyn Public Library around the campfire for an open dialogue about the shifting realities impacting the nation in this conversation facilitated by Katie Halper. Singer-songwriter Irka Mateo will also be performing before and after the campfire. RSVP to let us know if you are coming.

In partnership with NYC Parks' Art in the Parks project, the Prospect Park Alliance presents a public exhibition of sculpture by Carole Eisner. Four sculptures, created from I-beams twisted into lyrical forms will be on display at Grand Army Plaza, Bartel Pritchard Square, Litchfield Villa and the Peninsula through Spring 2017. |
