Think all gulls are the same? Join the Prospect Park Alliance and take another look by exploring the Park’s nature trails and discover all the different species of gulls in the Park. This tour is led by the Brooklyn Bird Club and leaves promptly at 8 am.

Nestled inside Prospect Park's tree-shaded southwest corner, this much-loved market, occuring every Sunday and Wednesday, is where South Slope and Windsor Terrace residents stock up on locally grown staples. The offerings range from a selection of vegetables, fruits, baked goods, plants, and flowers, to fresh-caught fish and organic baked goods. Our Streets, Our Stories: Prospect Park 150 Stories

In celebration of Prospect Park's 150th Anniversary, Brooklyn Public Library and Prospect Park Alliance invite you to share your Prospect Park story.  Join us on select Saturdays for our Campfire Conversations at Lefferts Historic House in Prospect Park, where we will collect submissions of your stories to be archived in the Brooklyn Collection of the Brooklyn Public Library as part of the Our Streets, Our Stories oral history project.  The interviews will take place at the Central Library the Sunday following the Campfire Conversation.

Art in the Parks: Carole Eisner

All Day, Sunday, March 5, 2017

In partnership with NYC Parks' Art in the Parks project, the Prospect Park Alliance presents a public exhibition of sculpture by Carole Eisner. Four sculptures, created from I-beams twisted into lyrical forms will be on display at Grand Army Plaza, Bartel Pritchard Square, Litchfield Villa and the Peninsula through Spring 2017.
