Mulchfest 2018 in Prospect Park

Saturday, January 6 , 10 am – 2 pm, 2018

Join Prospect Park Alliance on January 6 + 7 for Mulchfest! Bring your holiday tree to Prospect Park, where it will go through a chipper and transform into environment-friendly mulch. Plus, you can take some home for your own yard or garden. Please remove all decorations from the trees.

Volunteers are needed to help assist people who bring their trees in for recycling by removing ornaments and distributing mulch. Register to volunteer today.

Can't make it out January 6 or 7? Starting December 26, the community is welcome to leave holiday trees along the Park perimeter fence along Ocean Avenue. Prospect Park Alliance employees and volunteers will be collecting these trees on January 6.

About the Artist:
