Dorrance Dance with Toshi Reagon & BIGLovely

Thursday, June 28 , 8 pm – 10 pm, 2018

The Blues Project featuring Dorrance Dance with Toshi Reagon & BIGlovely will take place at the Bandshell as part of BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival, presented in partnership with Prospect Park Alliance.

This joyful and explosive collision of dance and music solidified Michelle Dorrance’s reputation as “one of the most imaginative tap choreographers working today.” (The New Yorker) The Blues Project brings together Dorrance’s exceptional company with the elemental musical force that is Toshi Reagon & BIGLovely to reveal “a deep merging of forms: As Ms. Reagon’s music envelops the dancing, the dancing seeps through to the last chord and sometimes even beyond it.” (The New York Times)

Gates open an hour before the performance unless otherwise noted, and all performances are rain or shine. For the latest information, including weather updates, set times, seating configurations, and FAQs, please visit the BRIC website.
