Bandshell

Brandi Carlile

Thursday, July 26 , 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm, 2018

Brandi Carlile and Ruthie Foster will perform at the Bandshell as part of BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival, presented in partnership with Prospect Park Alliance.

Brandi Carlile’s 2018 record, By the Way, I Forgive You, is a career-defining tour de force that “expertly skirts the fine line between rootsiness and pure, pre-‘Americana’ singer/songwriter finesse.” (Variety) With a voice that easily slides from whispered raw emotion to rafter-shaking power, she makes the intimate feel anthemic and the anthemic transcendent. Texan blueswoman Ruthie Foster’s trio showcases her soulful, gospel-infused vocals and luminous guitar, which Rolling Stone calls “pure magic to watch and hear.”

Gates open an hour before the performance unless otherwise noted, and all performances are rain or shine. For the latest information, including weather updates, set times, seating configurations, and FAQs, please visit the BRIC website.
