#OptOutside at Prospect Park

On Friday, November 29 + Saturday, November 30, skip the lines, noise, and frustration of holiday shopping and spend the day taking care of the great outdoors and learning about our environment.

• Discovery Pack, 12–3 pm: The Prospect Park Alliance invites you to get inspired by nature with our Discovery Packs, ready-to-go kits filled with nature activities for families.
• Nature’s Helpers, 1-2 pm: Help Alliance naturalists keep our corner of the park clean and healthy by removing litter around the lakeside. Materials are provided and all ages are welcome.
• Animal Encounter, 2-3 pm: Join Alliance Naturalists in learning more about the animals in the Audubon Center’s collection. This program starts promptly at 2 pm.
• Winter Bird Walk, 3-4 pm: An Alliance Naturalist will lead guests through Prospect Park to see which birds are still around and discuss how they survive during the cold winter months. This program leaves promptly at 3 pm.
