Spring Sprouts: An Event for Children with ASD

It’s time for spring planting! Join Prospect Park Alliance at the Lefferts Historic House for an exclusive event for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The museum will open an hour early and you and your family can get the farm ready for spring planting. Help remove our winter cover crop, turn the soil and plant our crop of flax as well as make a paper pot and plant seeds to take home. Attendees are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy in our yard. Have a fun day of interactive learning experiences with sensory-based exhibits and activities in a comfortable, protected and accepting environment.

Please note: Attendance is limited by Invitation & Eventbrite registration only
