, 12 pm – 6 pm, 2015
11225, NY, Brooklyn

Join the Alliance to explore aquatic and avian ecology in Prospect Park.

  • Macy’s Fishing Clinics, 1-2 pm & 3-4 pm: This popular summer program offers kids 15 & under the opportunity to fish.  Participants learn about aquatic ecology, fishing safety and will even get to collect their own bait. First come, first serve.
  • Family Bird Watching, 4:30–5:30 pm: Did you know that as an Important Bird Area, Prospect Park supports an exceptional diversity of migrating birds and is an essential stopover for about 250 species of birds?  After learning how to use binoculars, participants of all ages can join Alliance Naturalists on a walk to learn how to identify these birds!
