Volunteer in Prospect Park

Prospect Park Alliance engages thousands of volunteers annually to help keep Brooklyn’s Backyard green, vibrant and welcoming. The volunteer season runs from April through November.  Register today to become a volunteer in Prospect Park.

Full vaccination is now required in order to attend volunteer events at Prospect Park. Face coverings (masks) are not required for volunteers during outdoor projects. Volunteers are welcome to wear masks at their discretion.

Fall Fix-Up

Join Prospect Park Alliance on select Tuesdays to help Prospect Park thrive. Volunteers will tackle a range of projects from path and playground clean-up to painting, leaf raking and more.

Junior Volunteer Corps

Join Prospect Park Alliance for fall family fun on select Saturdays and Sundays to help rake leaves and tackle litter. Families and children ages 4+ can the learn value of service and meet other families and children while giving back.
