Volunteer in Prospect Park

Prospect Park Alliance engages thousands of volunteers annually to help keep Brooklyn’s Backyard green, vibrant and welcoming. The volunteer season runs from April through November, register today to become a volunteer.

Full vaccination is now required in order to attend volunteer events at Prospect Park. Face coverings (masks) are not required for volunteers during outdoor projects. Volunteers are welcome to wear masks at their discretion.

Park Pitch In Events

Join Prospect Park Alliance on select weekends to celebrate the park and our environment. Volunteers will tackle a range of projects from tree care to removing invasive plants and weeds, picking up litter and much more.

Green and Go Kits

Tackle litter and other greening opportunities on select weekends at various locations throughout the park. Green and Go kits include trash grabber, garbage bags and gloves.

Re:New Volunteer Corps
