Harvesting Color

Every weekend in May, join Prospect Park Alliance at the Lefferts Historic House on an exploration of color from the natural world.  Learn how to use natural ingredients such as flowers, berries and food scraps to naturally dye fabrics.  Participants are welcome to bring one natural fiber item (cotton, linen, canvas, or silk) to dye.  No previous dyeing experience necessary! All ages welcome!  Participation is limited and is on a first come first serve basis
