Participatory Budgeting Neighborhood Assembly
This year City Council Member Brad Lander has set aside $1.5 million in his budget for projects that are thought up—and voted on—by you! On September 22 at the Park Slope Library, Council Member Lander is hosting a neighborhood assembly focused on parks, the environment, streets and transit, which is co-sponsored by the Prospect Park Alliance, League of Conservation Voters, Gowanus Canal Conservancy and New Yorkers for Parks.
Attend the assembly to learn more about participatory budgeting and share your project ideas. Previous years’ participatory budgeting has provided funding for important Park projects, including improved pathways and drainage, freeze-resistant drinking fountains and much more.
