Al Gordon Brooklyn 4 Miler
Celebrate health and longevity with New York Road Runners at this four-mile race in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park. Namesake Al Gordon exemplified New York Road Runners’ motto, Run for Life. A standout track runner in college, Gordon had an 80-year career in finance and was an NYRR board member and benefactor. He started running marathons in his 80s and exercised regularly until the end of his life in 2009—at age 107. Lace up in Gordon’s honor!
