Benefit Show: Royel Otis

Royel Otis is coming to BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival, with Ax and the Hatchetmen!

Royel Otis is an Australian indie pop duo from Sydney. Formed in 2019 by Royel Maddell and Otis Pavlovic while working in bars and cafés, their music draws on indie rock, new wave, pop rock, post-punk, and psychedelic rock, creating a nostalgic, expansive sound filled with glimmering guitar riffs and lingering melodies.

Ax and the Hatchetmen is a six-piece indie rock band from Chicago, led by singer and guitarist Axel Ellis, that has been headlining tours and releasing music since 2018. Rounding out the rest of the band are the Hatchetmen: Salvatore Defilippis on guitar, Hunter Olshefke on bass, Nick Deputy on drums, Phil Pistone on trumpet, and Quinn Dolan on saxophone.

This is a ticketed BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Benefit Concert that supports BRIC’s free programming. This performance is part of BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn!, presented by BRIC in partnership with Prospect Park Alliance.
