Community Health Awareness and Family Reunion Day of Fun
Join Prospect Park Alliance, James Frazier, DJ T-Groove, Mehala Isadora Miller (MIM) Foundation, Amarachi, 500 Men Making a Difference, The Dow Twins and the Bonello Foundation for a celebratory day of music, fashion, wellness and togetherness in Prospect Park. Spearheaded by James Frazier and DJ T-Groove, who came together during the pandemic to launch their successful Family Reunion Initiative, this Community Health Awareness event is a time for gathering and community awareness through speakers, resources, workshops and more.
Attendees can enjoy music from New York City’s top DJs, a fashion review, special guest speakers, health and wellness screenings and fitness workshops, refreshments, children’s activities and more:

- 10:30–11 am: Family & Friends Fitness Workshop: Zumba and aerobics hosted East Flatbush based Dance Choreographer, Dance Fitness Coordinator & Fitness Instructor, Music Artist, and Entertainment Host, LyneLuvDance.
- 12–8 pm: Music by DJ T-Groove, DJ ADAPTA, DJ Debonair, and Foundation Int’l. hosted By Sherwin XL.
- 12–8 pm: Enjoy children’s’ activities including face paint, school-supply giveaways and more.
- 12–4 pm : Free Health Screenings: One Brooklyn Health, Aetna and more will provide screenings for blood pressure, obesity, diabetes, workshops for food and nutrition, mental health resources and more.
- 2:30–2:45 pm: Enjoy a fashion review presented by Moshood Fashions, celebrating their 30th anniversary.
- 3:00–3:25 pm: Guest Speaker + Book Signing with the legendary Harold Dow of The Dow Twins, presenting their new book, “50 Years of Disco Reflection: The Dow Twins Legacy” moderated by Desiree Kinney.
