Easter Weekend Nature Exploration

Join Prospect Park Alliance for free nature fun for children and families.

Featured Activities:

• Nature Around Us, 12 – 3 pm: Enjoy our seasonal discovery stations and nature- themed activities that introduce you to the plants, insects and animals that call Prospect Park home. We’ll explore the Lake and Lullwater, which are home to many plants and animals. Help us test the water quality and investigate pond samples that are filled with living organisms.
  
• Animal Encounter, 2 – 3 pm: Join Alliance Naturalists in learning more about the animals in our collection. This program starts promptly at 2 pm.
• Wilderness Walk, 3 – 4 pm: Join Alliance Naturalists to learn about the Great Backyard Bird  Count and search for your favorite “backyard bird.” Find woodpeckers, chickadees, and nuthatches along Prospect Park’s nature trails.
