Help us honor the 223rd anniversary of the Haitian Flag with a vibrant evening of live music, traditional dance and a curated market featuring local artisan vendors. Featuring live music by Mizik Ayiti! Residents Mikaëlle Aimée, Okai Musik, Rasin Okan and Bobby Raymond + Markus Schwartz with special guests. 2CENT will be our DJ for an evening of outdoor fun! Haiti Cultural Exchange (HCX) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to develop, present and promote the cultural expressions of the Haitian people. Founded in 2009 by seven Haitian women to create a permanent presence for Haitian Arts & Culture in NYC. HCX’s programs in the arts, education and public affairs raise awareness of social issues and foster cultural understanding within and beyond the Haitian community.
