Introduction to Healing the Mother Wound: Healing Retreat

Join Prospect Park Alliance and wellness practitioner Michelle Mathison for a deeply nourishing and transformative afternoon of healing, reflection, and ancestral repair as we gather to explore the Mother Wound, a wound that affects us personally, generationally, and collectively.

This half-day retreat will take place at the powerful and historic Lefferts House, an 18th-century Dutch colonial home located in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park. Once worked by enslaved people, this land holds ancestral memory. To gather here in community is a sacred act of reclamation and repair. This retreat is a collaboration between a diverse group of trauma-informed healers, therapists, and ceremonialists. Our shared intention is to provide a rich, layered experience that touches mind, body, soul and lineage.
