Nature Exploration: Wildlife Appreciation

Join Prospect Park Alliance for nature education programs on Thursdays at the Prospect Park Audubon Center, the first urban Audubon Center in the nation.

• Nature Around Us, 10–1 pm: Enjoy different seasonal discovery stations and nature themed activities that will introduce you to the plants, insects and animals that call the park home. The Lake and Lullwater are home to many plants and animals. Help us to test the water quality and investigate pond samples that are filled with living organisms.
• Let’s go to the Zoo! 2–3 pm: Join us for an exciting trip to the Prospect Park zoo, where we’ll explore a world of amazing animals. Along the way, we’ll learn fun facts, watch animals in action, and maybe even catch a feeding or two. It’s a great chance to connect with nature, ask questions, and have a wild time together!
