New York Philharmonic Concert in the Park
Enjoy a free evening under the stars at Prospect Park for the annual New York Philharmonic Concert in the Park, presented by Didi and Oscar Schafer in partnership with NYC Parks and Prospect Park Alliance. Part of the New York Philharmonic’s beloved Concerts in the Parks series, which began in 1965, this annual summer tradition brings live orchestral music to Brooklyn each year. Conductor Elim Chan leads a festive program featuring Principal Cellist Carter Brey performing Saint-Saëns’s Cello Concerto No. 1, alongside music by Copland and Ravel. The evening concludes with a spectacular fireworks display.
Enter via Grand Army Plaza, Prospect Park West at 9th Street or Bartel-Pritchard Circle.
