Join Prospect Park Alliance, Empress Poetry & Essence Lamonde for performances and an open mic at the Lefferts Historic House. This event will bring together griots, poets and wordsmiths from across the diaspora to honor important members of the Poetry community in NYC. We will also honor fallen members with a legendary tribute. The event is presented by Empress Poetry, Mr. Williams Presents, *77* 40th Council District, and Prospect Park Alliance.
